HoiSRt .~.Rd POGitioR: Accessory buildings shall not exceed one story or <br />fifteen feet (is') in height and the wall height shall not exceed nine feet (9') <br />in height. In no instance shall the overall height of an accessory building <br />exceed the overall height of the principal residential structure on the parcel. <br />(Building height is as defined in the Minnesota State Building Code - the <br />vertical distance between the highest adjoining ground level at the building <br />and the highest point of a flat roof or average height of the highest gable of <br />a pitched root.) <br /> <br />7. Any accessory building capable of storing one or more motorized vehicles <br />shall be provided with a hard-surfaced driveway to an adjacent public street, <br />unless the primary purpose of the building is for storage rather than vehicle <br />storage or for intermittent vehicle storage. <br /> <br />8. The exterior color, design, and/or materials of an accessory building shall be <br />similar to the principal residential structure. Corrugated metal exterior finish <br />accessory buildings over 120 square feet shall not be allowed. <br /> <br />10. The overall area of garage space and accessory building space, both <br />attached and detached, shall not exceed the floor area of the main level of <br />the principal residential structure on the property. <br /> <br />11. The size of an accessory building may be increased from 864 square feet up <br />to a maximum size of 1008 square feet upon approval of a conditional use <br />permit in accordance with Section 1013.01 of the City Code. <br /> <br />12.
