I aDpreciate
your action and understand the pressure that you faced.

The history of Central Park is interesting. In the '60's
there was a bond issue for $6so.ooo that waR anproved by
the Roseville voters for the parks. Due to limited funds.
only unimproved urouerty was acouired.

The~e was a ~eneral understanding that some uarcels of land
which had houses on them would eventually be acouired by the
City only when the owners chose to vacate their nroperty.
As a result. some houses and urouerties were sold to the City
of Roseville for park use. Following that same Doli~v.
Roseville should now acquire the Huberty uroperty for Central
Park.

The only re~son that the Huberty prouerty was not uurchased
back in the '60's was because funds were limited and the
owners were still usin~ the uroperty.

It is now time to acauire the Hubertv urouerty for Roseville
Central Park.

Sin~J;J(

~e^ Bell
807 Heinel Drive
Roseville.
