Congregate Care Facility <br /> <br />Congregate care facility typically consists of one or more multi-unit buildings <br />designed for elderly living. These facilities might alto cont.ain dining rooms, <br />medical facilities and recr~tional facilities. <br /> <br />9. Planned Unit Development (PUD) . Residential <br /> <br />Residential planned unit developments, for the purposes of trip generation, are <br />defined as containing any combination of residential land uses and might also <br />contain supporting services such as ILrruted retail omd rec!"cational facilities. <br /> <br />10. Convenience Market (Open 24 Hours) <br /> <br />The convenience markets in this classification are usually open 24 hours per day, <br />depending on the management and possibly the location. These markets sell <br />convenience foods, newspapers, magazines, and often, beer and wine, and do not <br />have gasoline pumps. <br /> <br />11. Convenience Market with Gasoline Pumps <br /> <br />The convenience markets surveyed seJI gasoline, convenience foods, newspapers, <br />magazines, and often beer and wine. <br /> <br />12. Office Park <br /> <br />Office parks are generally suburban subdivisions or planned unit developments <br />containing general office buildings and support services such as banks, savings and <br />loan institutions, restaurants, and service stations, arranged in a park or campus- <br />like atmosphere. <br /> <br />13. Business Park <br /> <br />Business parks consist of a group of flex-type or incubator one or two story <br />buildings served by a common roadway system. The tenant space is tlexible to <br />house a variety of uses: the rear side of the building is usually served by a garage <br />door. Tenents may be :;tart-up companies or small mature companies that require <br />a variety of space. Of the sites surveyed, 9% to 58% of the space includes offices, <br />retail and wholesale sales, resta.urants, and recreation, while 42% to 91% houses <br />warehousing, manufacturing, light industrial, and scientific research functions. The <br />average mix is 20 to 30% office/commercial, and 70 to 80% industrial/warehouse. <br />
