Single-Family Detached Hou~jng <br /> <br />Any single family detached home on an individual lot is included in this category. <br /> <br />2. Apartment <br /> <br />An apartment is defined as a rental dwelHng unit that is located within the same <br />building with at least three other dwelling units. Examples of sites included in this <br />land use include quadraplexes and all types of apartmect buildings. <br /> <br />3. Low Rise Apartment <br /> <br />This land use includes apartments in rental buildings that have one or two levels, <br />such as garden apartments. <br /> <br />4. High Rise Apartment <br /> <br />This land use includes apartments in rental buildings that have more than ten levels <br />and most likely have one or more elevators. <br /> <br />" Condo / Townhouse <br /> <br />Residential condominiums are defined as single-family ownership units that have at <br />least one other single-family owned unit ,,,,jthin the same building structure. Both <br />condominiums and townhouses are included in this land use. <br /> <br />6. Retirement Community <br /> <br />Retirement communities - restricted to adults or senior citizens - contain residential <br />units similar to apartments or condominiums, and are usually self-cont~ined <br />villages. They may also contain special services such as medical facilities, dining <br />facilities, and some limited supporting retail facilities. <br /> <br />7. Elderly Attached Housing <br /> <br />Elderly housing (attached) - restricted to senior citizens - contain residential units <br />similar to apartments and condominiums, and are sometimes self-contained <br />villages. They may also contain special services such as medical facilities, dining <br />facilities. and some limited supporting retail facilities. <br />
