<br />Member Klausing stated that he liked the linking of senior housing to the park, but <br />shares the concern about the impact of the building on the park. He requested <br />drawings that show how the building would look from the park and the impact on the <br />horizon. He felt Site "A" was more acceptable. <br /> <br />Member Olson stated that Villa Park senior housing has worked well adjacent to the <br />park. <br /> <br />Member Wilke asked for details regarding the "land locked" church land. Site Plan "B" <br />is more appealing, but he would like the site lines shown. <br /> <br />Member Cunningham asked if the units would be owner occupied (Yes). The west side <br />is overgrown with trees and should be preserved as much as possible. Use computer <br />imaging to show the building and the trees that must come down. <br /> <br />Member Wilke asked if the building could be longer and lower (Yes). <br /> <br />Mr. Rosa asked the Planning Commission to help choose a site for the building ("A" or <br />"B") location. The church cannot be seen from the lake. <br /> <br />Member Rhody stated that both alternatives may be available. <br /> <br />Member Mulder stated they could swing the building along the north property line with <br />only the side elevation to be seen from the park. <br /> <br />Member Wilke asked to explain the zoning. <br /> <br />Member Cunningham asked that both options be considered and multiple views of the <br />proposals be available. <br /> <br />No formal public comment was accepted at this meeting. Dennis Welsch explained the <br />process. <br />
