<br />4.0 Staff Comment: <br /> <br />The amended concept site plans are attached. More information and photo-images will be presented <br />at the meeting by the Church. The original staff report and Planning Commission recommendation <br />for this case is attached. <br /> <br />5.0 Suggested Council Action: <br /> <br />Compare, comment, decide (approval or denial) on the amended Comprehensive Plan designations <br />and the Concept site plan (northwest side development). <br /> <br />5.1 By resolution (draft attached), approve (denial) of the request for an amendment to the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan to change the future land use designation of both parcels to <br />High Density Residential. <br /> <br />5.2 By motion, approval (denial) of the concept development plan for a mixed use planned <br />unit development including the existing Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, a 56-unit three- <br />story senior housing building, and an off-street parking area. <br /> <br />If the Council approves the concept PUD and the change in the Comprehensive Plan, the <br />PUD does not take effect until after final approvals of the PUD and Subdivision and <br />respective agreements; and review and approval of the Comprehensive Plan change by the <br />Metropolitan Council; and publication of the PUD ordinance. <br /> <br />Q:\Planning Files\3049 ]rince of Peace\RCA(042699).doc <br /> <br />2 <br />
