On December 9, 1998 the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing on the Prince I ~' of Peace request (PF 3049). The Commission closed the hearing and requested the City ~,..i Council to provide more time for project review. The Commission requested staff to provide .JI. il'b- a review of other sites in the community that could create a precedent (review is attached). The l~ ~ Commission also requested the development team to prepare sight-line studies and vegetation ~ct analysis (review of some viewpoints is attached). The Church also did a photo inventory o~r parking overflow on major church events (review of some view points is attached). The City ( Manager has followed up on a request by the Council to determine if there was Church interest in a joint parking lot project. The Church decided the joint parking lot was not in their interest (letter is attached). Finally, staff reviewed Commission and public comment from the hearing and updated some of the facts in the comment/findings section, concluding that from a land use perspective, the use is still appropriate, but a more sophisticated and . detailed site and building design would be necessary before this concept issue reaches the, ' ".
