J~
) 2- "3' 9:r

December 3, 1998

Roseville Planning Commission
Roseville City Council
Attention: Dennis Welsch
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113

I am writing to you as a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church regarding the proposal for a
senior housing project and expansion of the parking lot on our property.

This housing project has my support because it will enable us and other Roseville seniors to stay
in the Roseville community when we are no longer able to keep up with maintaining a home and
yard.

It will benefit Prince of Peace Church, too, in that the church will be able to acquire badly needed
parking space. When the church was first built, some years before Central Park was developed,
the planners thought they had an adequate lot size for any future expansion of the building and
parking lot. After losing some of our acreage to the development of the park trails around Lake
Bennett, we now need to acquire other land for parking expansion.

The housing project will enable us to re-arrange our parking so that we will end up with more
parking space at an affordable cost.

A
1 Oakcrest Ave
seville, MN 55113
