<br />5.0 SUGGESTED ACTION <br /> <br />5.1 By motion, recommend approval of the request for sign variances to reduce the <br />setback of a pylon sign to 5 feet (from the property line along Lexington Avenue <br />North), increase the area to 200 square feet, and increase the height to 30 feet for <br />the purpose of constructing a new pylon sign at Lexington Plaza - 1698-1752 <br />Lexington Avenue as proposed, based on the findings outlined in Section 3.1 of this <br />report. and with the provisions outlined in Section 4.1 of this report. <br /> <br />5.2 The Planning commission's recommended action will be forwarded to the City <br />Council for final action on Monday, September 28, 1998. <br /> <br />Attachments: location map; notice of public hearing; project narrative from applicant; site plan; detail site plan; <br />proposed sign elevation; and photos of property. <br /> <br />60-day Time Limit: application submitted in sections up to June 23, 1998; application accepted as complete <br />on July 23, 1998; decision deadline is September 21, 1998. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Kim L.
