<br />.f <br /> <br />Ifz3-Qg <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />~t <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 23'd day of November 1998 at <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Goedeke, maschka, Wiski and Wall <br />And the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9600 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT OF <br />DEED FOR THE SALE OF 2190 ST. CROIX STREET AS PART OF THE HOUSING <br />REPLACEMENT PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE HOUSING IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM TO PREFERRED BUILDERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS. The City of Roseville adopted a Housing Replacement Program <br />("Program") within the Roseville Housing Improvement Program which includes the <br />acquisition of undersized, outdated, or non-code compliant properties that could not be <br />economically rehabilitated or sold on the open market, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the Program is to replace deteriorating lower value housing <br />on scattered sites throughout the City with larger, higher value housing designed for today's <br />families, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the goal of the Program is to increase the market value of the property and <br />improve the value and aesthetics of the neighborhood properties, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City owned parcel [Parcel # 08-29-23-34-0034] located at 2190 St. Croix <br />Street is in poor to fair condition, outdated and undersized with a 972 square foot home on a <br />9,500 square foot lot, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Preferred Builders has agreed to purchase the parcel from the City for <br />$40,000 and comply with the requirements of the Program, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Preferred Builders has agreed to demolish the home in 1998 and build a 4 <br />bedroom, 3 bath single family home in the spring of 1999 under the provision of the Housing <br />Design and Site Criteria. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville City Council does <br />hereby approve and authorize the execution of a contract for deed by the City Manager for the <br />sale of Parcel # 08-29-23-34-0034 to Preferred Builders for $40,000. <br /> <br />Resolution - Page 1 of 2 <br />
