Business Items (Action Items) <br /> a. Consider Appointment to Roseville Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br /> Mayor Roe briefly reviewed his proposed appointment to the HRA from the sub- <br /> urb candidates having applied. Mayor Roe recommended confirmation of his ap- <br /> pointment, by resolution, of Dan Wall to the HRA term from September 24, 2014 <br /> to September 23, 2019; and sought ratification by the council. <br /> McGehee moved, Willmus seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11172 (Attach- <br /> ment A) entitled, "Resolution Approving Mayor's Appointment of Dan Wall to <br /> the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and For the City of Roseville;"with <br /> the appointment for a term to run from September 24, 2014 to September 23, <br /> 2019. <br /> Councilmember Willmus expressed his agreement with Mayor Roe's comments <br /> on Mr. Wall's qualifications, background, and previous history to the community; <br /> and looked forward to his input and perspective in future HRA discussion. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten and McGehee. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Abstained: Roe. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> b. Community Development Department Request to Perform an Abatement for <br /> Unresolved Violations of City Code at 1175— 1177 County Road B <br /> Codes Coordinator Don Munson reviewed current code violations at this rental <br /> duplex property, with the current owner listed as Mr. and Mrs. William Head, alt- <br /> hough the property is currently in foreclosure with the redemption period sched- <br /> uled to expire in December of 2014. <br /> Mr. Munson advised that this property came up for abatement previously. Mr. <br /> Munson provided a status update, including photos, of current violations, includ- <br /> ing building maintenance and appearance (violation of City Code, Section <br /> 407.02.J. & K) related to loose and falling trim boards and significant paint dete- <br />
