Approve General Purchases and Sale of Surplus Items in Excess of$5,000 <br /> At the request of Mayor Roe, City Manager Trudgeon briefly reviewed this re- <br /> quest as detailed in the RCA dated August 25, 2014. <br /> Regarding the IT Department purchase of two virtual machine host servers, <br /> Councilmember Laliberte noted projected $62,000 on the CIP for IT equipment <br /> for 2014, and questioned whether the remainder of planned funds would be spent <br /> in the remaining few months of 2014. <br /> In response, Finance Director Miller advised that, while the department was com- <br /> ing close to the end of major equipment purchases for 2014, he anticipated several <br /> additional purchases before year-end. <br /> Willmus moved, Etten seconded, approval of the submitted list of general pur- <br /> chases and contracts for services presented as follows; and as detailed in the RCA <br /> dated August 11, 2014; and Attachment A entitled, "2014 Capital Improvement <br /> Plan Summary as of 07/31/2014." <br /> Department Vendor Description Amount Budget/ <br /> CIP <br /> Bldg.
