PARTNERSHIPS (1 page or less) <br />Describe the type and nature of partnerships in the project among government, private, <br />for-profit and non-profit sectors. <br /> <br />As this project moves forward, the Coalition anticipates fonning partnerships in different phases <br />of pre-development and implementation. During the predevelopment phases it will seek to <br />coordinate and possibly cooperate with other entities and consultants engaged in related studies <br />throughout the region. The intent is to avoid duplication of costs, to share of information and <br />analysis, and to contribute to regional understanding of how "smart growth" principles might be <br />applied in all parts of the region. Simultaneously, the Coalition seeks to conduct collaborative <br />comprehensive planning among city members of the Coalition with the goal of submitting <br />updated comprehensive plans coordinated at the subregional scale by the year 2003. The <br />Coalition will seek to coordinate implementation of development, redevelopment, and infill <br />projects with appropriate jurisdictions and entities of the for-profit and non-profit sectors. <br /> <br />17 <br />
