Given <br />that buiJding pennit revenues are a significant revenue source for the City and are directly related <br />to new developmenl it .is imporrant to account for them in the fiscal analysis. This is also <br />consistent with the methodology used for the City of Richfield, the other redeveloping City being <br />analyzed as part of thi~ study, Expenditures in this fund jnc1ude those associated with Fire <br />Prevention. Code Enforcement, Economic Development, Planning, and Geographic Information <br />Systems. <br /> <br />A. Building Permit Fees <br /> <br />The table below summarizes the fees collected at time of development far each of the residential <br />and nonresidential land use prototypes. These are one-time fce~ collected at the time. of <br />construction. The amounts are derived from information provided by the City of Roseville <br />Community Development Department based on recent construction activity in the City. Building <br />permit data were provided for typical development activity by land use type associated with the <br />market values for each prototype.
