Based on the scope of the study, the City Council authorized <br />participation to the amount of $5,000.00. An additional $5,000.00 from the 1-35W Corridor <br />Coalition will provide the combined $10,000.00 amount necessary to initiate Roseville' s portion <br />of the stud:,. <br /> <br />The findings of this study will contribute to a better understanding of the impacts of growth on <br />Roseville, the impacts on state and local aids throughout the City, School District and County, and <br />serve to provide a basis for discussion with the legislature about the appropriate level of financial <br />support to first ring suburbs. <br /> <br />Policy Implication <br />The study itself, will have no direct policy implications. However, the findings of the study may be <br />used to address state and regional policies. <br /> <br />Financial Implications <br />Funds have already been committed for this purpose, based on prior Council action. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested <br />Motio.n authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to execute the attached Regional Fiscal Impact <br />Study Funding Agreement with the Metropolitan Council. <br />
