Two sets of forecasts (5 year intervals) to 2020 (population, housing units by type, employment by <br />type offinn (non-residential square footage by type)) - current trends and the Metropolitan <br />Council's Regional Gro\Vth Strategy. Forecasts need to have some text or rationale along with the <br />numbers. See attached samples of Land Use Forecasts and Narrative papers. Council staff needs to <br />. .'. reach agreement with cities on forecasts to be used for the study. <br /> <br /> <br />. Pick up to four Fiscal Analysis Zones. This is the city's choice, but they must have boundaries and a <br />rationale for what they-pick and want studied. We would like to have the zones show realistic <br />differences in neighborhood characteristics. Need to have zones at the same time forecasts are <br />approved. ~ ~ ~ ~ 1 <br /> <br />. City must designate land uses to be used in the study -- up to eight -- picking categories that fit each <br />city.
