Restrict further <br />commercial/industrial land expansion where there is encroachment on residential <br />areas; encourage concentrated medium size office development in areas currently <br />designated for such uses. <br /> <br />. Encourage orderly transition of areas from residential to commercial in accord with <br />the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />. Encourage industrial uses that have key commercial/retail access and visibility <br />qualities to redevelop the site into commercial uses and move existing industrial <br />uses to industrial districts. <br /> <br />. Encourage the development of multi-story industrial uses subject to adequate <br />standards as a means of promoting land use efficiency and a stronger tax base per <br />unit of land.
