Draft 11/13/98

The City of Roseville owns 13 acres in this area at 2800 Arona Street. This site is
occupied by the 30,000 square foot former Ralph Reeder Elementary School and
was utilized by NCR as a training facility. The City of Roseville subsequently
acquired the property from NCR for $1,264,931. The City is currently using the
site as an activity center and for recreation offices.

It is anticipated that the existing activity center and recreational offices would
be relocated elsewhere in the City. It is the City's goal to maintain
approximately 4 acres of park and open space on the site leaving approximately
9 acres available for development; most likely a mixed-use planned unit
development.

In 1995, a request for proposal was issued and 3 different concepts were
reviewed. Without a viable alternate location for the activity center and
recreational offices, Council did not accept any proposal. It is anticipated that
within the next 2-4 years the area will once again be ready for redevelopment.

14. It provides a
forum to openly discuss issues and opportunities, and to formulate a long term
strategy to establish an exciting and vibrant mixed-use recreational, civic, and
entertainment center for our community.
