Future Projections through 2020:' <br /> <br />Future projects are based upon trend development of existing vacant land per the <br />comprehensive plan designation (attached chart - 3). Additional job growth and tax <br />base can be anticipated as a result of the implementation of the redevelopment plan <br />but are not included in these future projections. <br /> <br />Employment Growth: <br /> <br />It Total employment equals 42,171 by the year 2020, which is an increase of 6,394 jobs <br />based upon development of existing undeveloped land as designated by the <br />comprehensive plan. <br /> <br />Increase in Tax Base: <br /> <br />II A total development of26.7 acres of business/retail, 27.7acres of office and 28.62 <br />acres of industrial flex is estimated to provide 1.8 million SF of building with a <br />market value of over $100 million. <br /> <br />Q:\Comprehensive Plan\07 _Redevelopments\Economic Dev strategy.doc <br /> <br />12 <br />
