The Task Force is encouraged to access and utilize the resources of the Roseville Community Development Department, Public Works Department and Parks and Recreation Department and other agencies as part of the fact finding mission. The Task Force also may choose to involve other residents of the City for information, subgroups and other work teams as needed. REPORT The Task Force work shall begin after the appointment process has been completed by the City Council. A five phase process has been developed to formulate a master plan for the city center. The first phase, development discovery, is underway and is expected to be completed by December 1998, with the preparation of a draft report. It is anticipated that the Task Force should complete its work by September 1999. SELECTION OF TASK FORCE COMMITTEE The Task Force shall be composed of 9 to l5 members and follow the policy on creation of Task Forces. A solicitation process shall seek interest from various groups including: residents, businesses, educational, civic or religious representatives, or property owners, Vista 2000 Focus Group members, and persons involved in recent Task Force efforts in the City of Roseville. The Council may wish to appoint a liaison member(s) from the City Council, Planning Commission. TASK FORCE CHAIR The method of selection of a chairperson will be decided at a later date by the City Council. STAFF ASSISTANCE The staff liaison to the Task Force will be Dennis Welsch, Community Development Director. Bob Bierscheid, Director of Parks and Recreation and Karl Keel, Director of Public Works will also be key resources on the project. In advance, the City Council extends its thanks to each member of the Task Force for your willingness to contribute your time and knowledge to the study and report.
