2.4 Zoning Map (Section 4) - Illustrates all land use zoning designations based on City approvals to December 14,1998, including a spreadsheet breakdown of each designation by area and percent of total city land area. 2.5 Transportation Plan (Section 5) - As required by the Metropolitan Council, the Transportation Plan analysis zones have been reviewed by BRW and the estimated traffic forecasts have been extended from the year 2011 (done in 1997) to the year 2020. 2.6 Livable Communities Program 1998-99 (Section 6) - Housing Goals were adopted by the City Council and sent to the Met. Council for approval in November 1998. These goals are attached and should be adopted as a part of the Comprehensive Plan. 2.7 Housing (Section 6) - The housing section included revised statistics (density of single family and multiple family projected to 2020), the current Livable Communities Action Plan and a status report on housing programs. The housing and population estimates were extended to the year 2020. 2.8 Cornerstone Plan (Section 6) - VVhile the map and report was completed indicating that there were 29 potential intersections for this neighborhood redesign effort, the architectural design concepts and the design guidelines were not completed. \,yhile three projects are underway (one at each corner), only the map and the report can be approved as part of the plan at this time. 2.9 James Addition Neighborhood Plan (Section 6) and the Tower Place Business Area Plan (section 7) - These plans have been ap~roved by the City but not the Metro Council, which will have that opportunity as part of the 1998 Mandatory Planning Process. 2.10 Economic and Redevelopment Plan (Section 7) - This section has been rewritten to provide an overview of short and long term economic and redevelopment strategies. Employment projections extend to the year 2020. The Larpentuer Avenue Implementation Design/Redevelopment has been approved and the first special services district was established in 1998. 2.11 City Center (Section 7) - A City Center Task Force Planning Process began in August, 1998. This is part of the plan Implementation Section. No action will be taken on this plan until July, 1999. 2.12 Twin Lakes Parkway Realignment within the Twin Lakes Plan (Section 7) - In 1997, a review of the land use, environmental and traffic impacts was completed prior to hold PF 3082 - RCA(12/14/98) - Page 2 of 4
