<br />2.4 Zoning Map (Section 4) - Illustrates all land use zoning designations based on City <br />approvals to December 14,1998, including a spreadsheet breakdown of each designation <br />by area and percent of total city land area. <br /> <br />2.5 Transportation Plan (Section 5) - As required by the Metropolitan Council, the <br />Transportation Plan analysis zones have been reviewed by BRW and the estimated traffic <br />forecasts have been extended from the year 2011 (done in 1997) to the year 2020. <br /> <br />2.6 Livable Communities Program 1998-99 (Section 6) - Housing Goals were adopted by the <br />City Council and sent to the Met. Council for approval in November 1998. These goals are <br />attached and should be adopted as a part of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />2.7 Housing (Section 6) - The housing section included revised statistics (density of single <br />family and multiple family projected to 2020), the current Livable Communities Action <br />Plan and a status report on housing programs. The housing and population estimates <br />were extended to the year 2020. <br /> <br />2.8 Cornerstone Plan (Section 6) - VVhile the map and report was completed indicating that <br />there were 29 potential intersections for this neighborhood redesign effort, the <br />architectural design concepts and the design guidelines were not completed. \,yhile three <br />projects are underway (one at each corner), only the map and the report can be approved <br />as part of the plan at this time. <br /> <br />2.9 James Addition Neighborhood Plan (Section 6) and the Tower Place Business Area Plan <br />(section 7) - These plans have been ap~roved by the City but not the Metro Council, which <br />will have that opportunity as part of the 1998 Mandatory Planning Process. <br /> <br />2.10 Economic and Redevelopment Plan (Section 7) - This section has been rewritten to <br />provide an overview of short and long term economic and redevelopment strategies. <br />Employment projections extend to the year 2020. The Larpentuer Avenue Implementation <br />Design/Redevelopment has been approved and the first special services district was <br />established in 1998. <br /> <br />2.11 City Center (Section 7) - A City Center Task Force Planning Process began in August, <br />1998. This is part of the plan Implementation Section. No action will be taken on this plan <br />until July, 1999. <br /> <br />2.12 Twin Lakes Parkway Realignment within the Twin Lakes Plan (Section 7) - In 1997, a <br />review of the land use, environmental and traffic impacts was completed prior to hold <br /> <br />PF 3082 - RCA(12/14/98) - Page 2 of 4 <br />
