You have notified us that outside storage must be removed, as it
violates the Roseville City code. You were generous enough to give us until November
1 st to remove the materials in light of the problems caused. by the stonns that passed
through your area.

As I discussed, Allied has deternrined that it' is not feasible to operate our operation
without outside storage of materials such as shingles. Accordingly, we have already
enlisted the services of real estate brokers and plan to vacate our premises by March 3 1,
1999. My purpose in writing to you is to request that Allied be permitted to store
materials in the backyard only during the w iillel. We have had a tremendous influx in
inventory to accommodate the demand caused by the storms, and feel we will need until
the spring to work clown our inventory. It would be most appreciated if we were able to
continue through the spring, a move which will also benefit those who were affected by
the storm.

As I told you in our first conversation, everybody who has dealt with you has been
impressed by your fairness and professionalism. Please take to hea,,'1: that we are not
playing games or dealing in bad faith, and we are earnestly pursuing other facilities, but
as you know the real estate market in your area for our type of needs is very tight.
