<br />~~to <br />~ <br />~c.-, <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCil ACTION <br /> <br /> <br />11anagerApproved: <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />DATE: 12/14/98 <br />ITE11 NO: c-2 <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />Acceptance of Public Pathway Easements and Authorization to Execute <br />Easements for Pathways in Centre Pointe Business Park (PF3091 ). <br /> <br />1.0 Requested Action <br /> <br />1.1 Ryan Companies has requested the City to accept the following pathway easements in <br />Centre Pointe Business Park: <br /> <br />.( . <br />j . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pathway along Cleveland Avenue North adjacent to Ehlers & Associates <br />Building at 3060 Centre Pointe Drive <br />Pathway along Cleveland Avenue North adjacent to Ideal Properties building <br />at 2990 Centre Pointe Drive <br />Pathway along Cleveland Avenue North adjacent to Ryan Companies building <br />at 2890-2920 Centre Pointe Drive <br />Pathway along 1-35W adjacent to Veritas Software Corporation building at <br />2955 Centre Pointe Drive <br /> <br />j. <br /> <br />2.0 Background <br /> <br />2.1 The Planned Unit Development agreement for Centre Pointe Business Park required the <br />dedication of public pathways throughout this development. These easements are <br />perpetual easements for public walkway and bicycle pathway purposes. The pathway <br />along Cleveland Avenue adjacent to the Builders Association ofthe Twin Citites building <br />at 2960 Centre Pointe Drive was accepted by the City Council on May 26,1998. <br /> <br />2.2 The Engineering and Community Development departments have reviewed the <br />descriptions ofthe easements and are recommending that the easements be executed. <br /> <br />2.3 As with other public pathway easements in the community, the City will be responsible <br />for maintenance of the pathways within these easements. <br /> <br />3.0 Suggested Council Action <br /> <br />3,1 By motion, accept the four attached pathway easements and authorize the 11ayor and City <br />11anager to execute all four public pathway easements. <br /> <br />Att~chments: Property}ocation map; proposeg p'athway easements. <br /> <br />60-day Time Limit: Not applicable. <br />Prepared by: Kim L.
