<br />EXTRAa OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the <br />22nd day of February, 1999, at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wisld, Maschka, Mastel and Wall <br />and the following were absent: Goedeke <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9633 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR 2330 AUERBACH AVENUE NORTH (TOM AND MARILYN WEAVER) <br />TO CONSTRUCT A 968 SQ,FT. GARAGE (P.F. 3095) <br /> <br />\tVHEREAS, Tom and Marilyn Weaver, 2330 Auerbach Avenue North have requested <br />approval to construct a 22' x 44' (968 sq.ft.) four-stall detached garage on their 10,125 sq.ft. <br />residential lot; <br /> <br />\tVHEREAS, the proposed building (968 sq.ft.) exceeds the maximum allowed rear yard <br />coverage of the 40%, and further, on this lot the 40% detached building area is calculated as 75 <br />feet in width x 30 feet in depth (900 sq.ft.), and therefore requires a conditional use permit as <br />per City Code Section 1004.01A.12; and <br /> <br />\tVHEREAS, the 968 sq.ft. building would have four parking bays and shop space and <br />would be used for storage of personal vehicles and residential equipment; and <br /> <br />\tVHEREAS, the site, located in Comprehensive Plan District #6 (with a Comprehensive <br />Plan designation ofL-R) is zoned R-l; and <br /> <br />\tVHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, February 10, 1999, and recommended approval ofthe requested <br />conditional use permit (subject to conditions); and <br /> <br />\tVHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, February 22,1999; and <br /> <br />\tVHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The project will not create additional traffic nor the need for additional public <br />facilities. With proper exterior building treatment, drainage, and landscaping, the <br />building will not have an impact on surrounding property or values. There appears <br />to be no impact on general health, safety, and public welfare.
