<br />" <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Date: 02/22/99 <br />Item No: <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />Roseville Chrysler Auto Body Shop, request for a conditional use permit to <br />store inoperable vehicles awaiting repair within an enclosed structure on <br />property located at 2945 Partridge Road, City of Roseville (Section <br />1007.03Dlb) [PF3098] <br /> <br />1.0 Requested Action <br /> <br /> <br />Manager Approved: <br /> <br />1.1 Roseville Chrysler Plymouth, Inc, 2805 Highway 35 W North submitted an application for a <br />conditional use permit to store inoperable vehicles (scheduled for repair) at 2945 Partridge Road. <br />The site is zoned 1-2 which permits auto body repair, but requires a conditional use permit to store <br />inoperable vehicles awaiting repair within an enclosed structure. <br /> <br />2.0 Background <br /> <br />2.1 Since the initial submission of the conditional use permit application, the applicant has requested <br />an amendment to the original conditional use permit which amendment would request outdoor <br />storage of new and used vehicles as part of a dealership activity. <br /> <br />2.2 As this amendment request was not submitted in time for publication and notiee to affected <br />property owners, the applicant is requesting that this matter be continued to the Planning <br />Commission's next regular meeting of March 10, 1999 <br /> <br />3.0 Planning Commission Action <br /> <br />3.1 The Planning Commission, at their meeting of February 10, 1999, by motion, recommended that <br />the application for a conditional use permit, by Roseville Chrysler Auto Body Shop, to store <br />inoperable vehicles awaiting repair within an enclosed structure on property located at 2945 <br />Partridge Road, be continued to a date eertain, that being March 10, 1999, and that the city shall <br />re-advertise the new hearing date and re-send the appropriate notice to affected property owners, <br />and further, that the Council approve a 60-day extension of the 60-day review period. <br /> <br />4.0 Suggested Council Action <br /> <br />4.1 By motion, approve a 60 day extension of the 60-day review period, horn February 22,1999 <br />to April 22, 1999, in response to the request of the applicant, Roseville Chrysler Auto Body <br />Shop. for such an extension. <br /> <br />Application deadline schedule: Accepted 01.11.99; requested amendment 02.04.99; 60-day review time limit 03.11.99 <br />Attachments: Letter from Applieant requesting continuance; Location map <br />Prepared by: Dennis Welsch(490-2232) <br />Q:\Planning FiIes\3098_Roseville Chrysler\RCA(022299)Continuance request.doc <br /> <br />PF3098 - RPCA (02-10-99) - Page 1 of 1 ~ V\ <br />- ~')~ <br />yO <br />
