<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the <br />22nd day of March, 1999, at 6:30 p.m.. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka, Wall <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9648 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR 2945 PARTRIDGE ROAD (ROSEVILLE CHRYSLER PLYMOUTH) <br />TO ALLOW OUTDOOR STORAGE OF INOPERABLE VEHICLES (P.F. 3098) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jerry Golinvaux, Roseville Chrysler Plymouth, 2805 Highway 35W North <br />has requested approval to allow outdoor storage of inoperable vehicles awaiting repair, on <br />property located at 2945 Partridge Road; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1007.03D1b states that the storage of inoperable equipment, such <br />as trucks and cars awaiting collision repair are allowed within enclosed structures, by <br />conditional use permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff interprets the requirement of an enclosed structure for the screening <br />of inoperable vehicles to be that of an opaque fence; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the site does not meet the current requirements for front, rear, and side <br />yard setbacks and encroaches into adjacent private and public right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the site, located in Comprehensive Plan District #10 (with a Comprehensive <br />Plan designation of!) is zoned 1-2, General Industrial; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, March 10, 1999, and recommended approval of the requested <br />conditional use permit (subject to conditions); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, March 22,1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The project will not create additional traffic nor the need for additional public facilities. <br />With proper exterior building treatment, drainage, and landscaping, the building will <br />not have an impact on surrounding property values. There appears to be no impact on <br />general health, safety, and public welfare. In addition, the project complies with the <br />Comprehensive Plan designation as an industrial use. cA..
