As has been pointed out by many, t.here would be heavy <br />motor traffic, creat.ing w~at we would consider a very disturbing <br />nuisance. <br /> <br />Har Mar main~ains t.hat its present parking lot is Itmore t11.an <br />adequat.el1 t.o handle t.101e ant,icipated volume of t.raffic. I beg to <br />differ. On weekends--Sa+urday night.s, especially--t.he sout11. <br />parking lot., serving Har Mar 'T'heat.ers, is full t.o or near t1o1e <br />Ryan Avenue fence. Add t.o t,101is t,101e volume of Cub s101oppers, plus <br />ot,101ers visiting t~e mall, and what do you have? A surge of <br />parking on nearby streets--resident.ial street.s--especially Ryan, <br />Arona, Asbury, Simpson and other streets east of the lot. <br /> <br />I don't think t.he city wants a situation like t11.i8 any more <br />than do t.101e residents.
