He explained the request <br />for landscaping in lieu of fencing on the south side. There will be no overhead <br />lighting in the parking lot (bollards). <br /> <br />6d. Planning File 3098. Roseville Chrysler Auto Body Shop, request for a <br />conditional use permit to store inoperable vehicles awaiting repair within an <br />enclosed structure and for a motor vehicle dealership on property located at 2945 <br />Partridge Road. <br /> <br />Chair Harms opened the hearing and requested Thomas Paschke to provide a <br />summary of the staff report dated March 10, 1999. <br /> <br />Chair Harms noted that this change will be a major improvement. <br /> <br />Mike Klein, Architect, explained the need for added space. He asked the <br />Planning Commission to provide additional time to comply with the requirements <br />of the code. The applicant states he has a conditional use permit on the existing <br />car dealership site to store new vehicles. The number of repairable vehicles on <br />the site should not exceed ten. <br /> <br />Chair Harms closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Chair Harms asked for detail on timing for improvements to bring the project into <br />compliance. <br /> <br />Member Rhody stated he would not recommend approval without screening of <br />vehicles. <br /> <br />Page 11 of 12 <br />
