<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />HOURS OF OPERATION <br />In C-l districts: <br />Businesses that abut any residential district must restrict their hours of operation to 6:00 a.m. to <br />11 :00 p.m. <br />In C-2 districts: <br />Businesses whose buildings are located within 100 feet of any residential district must restrict <br />their hours of operation to 6:00 a.m. to 11 :00 p.m. <br /> <br />OUTDOOR STORAGE <br />In C-2 districts: <br />~ In addition to the city's other screening requirements, all outdoor storage must be set back <br />according to the building setback requirements of the district. <br />~ Outdoor storage must be screened from view from public right-of-way by an opaque fence <br />or wall. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS REQUlREMENTS--OTHER SECTIONS OF THE ORDINANCE <br /> <br />SCREENING <br />~ All commercial and industrial principal and accessory uses which are situated within 75 <br />feet of an R-l, R-2, R-3, or R-4 district must be screened by a wall or fence of not less <br />than 100% opacity and up to 10 feet in height above the level ofthe R-l, R-2, R-3, or R-4 <br />property at the district boundary. <br />~ The wall or fence must be setback from the property line at least 5 feet. <br />~ A combination of coniferous and deciduous plants and, possibly, vines must be planted in <br />order to soften the appearance of the wall or fence to the residential area. <br />~ All required screening must be harmonious with the principal structure. <br /> <br />STORAGE-DISPLAYS <br />All materials, supplies, merchandise or other similar matter not on display for sale, rental or lease <br />to the ultimate consumer must be stored within a 100% opaque wall or fence which screens <br />storage from public right-of-way. <br /> <br />FENCES (COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS) <br />~ Cannot exceed 10 feet in height. <br />~ Boundary line fences abutting a residential district must conform to the conditions for <br />fences that apply to the residential district, except for height. <br />~ Fences for special purposes differing in construction, height, or length may be permitted <br />by special use permit if the fence is necessary to buffer, protect or improve the premises <br />for which the fence is intended. <br /> <br />OFF-STREET PARKING <br />Any lighting used to illuminate off-street parking must be so arranged as to reflect the light away <br />from adjoining property, abutting residential uses ad public right of ways. <br /> <br />Roseville Shopping Center District Study <br /> <br />Phase I Report <br /> <br />Page 75 <br />
