Cunningham
2705 Marion St.
Roseville, MN 55113

RE: STREET RECONSTRUCTION, CITY PROJECT P-99-02-23

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham:

As part of the upcoming street project on Marion Street, the City will have the contractor remove
and replace the boulevard portion of residential driveways. The City Engineering Department
has examined all driveways for code compliance and existing and proposed grades.

The City ofRoseville requires that all driveways be brought into compliance with City Code
during a permanent street upgrading. Driveways must be a minimum of five feet rrom
neighboring property lines. Currently, the north edge of your driveway is less than five feet from
your north property line. In order to comply with City Code, this must be rebuilt to a point
five feet south of your north property line as depicted in Exhibit A.

You may apply to vary from City Code by applying for a "minor variance." I have enclosed an
application for a minor variance if you would prefer this option. If approved, your driveway
would be legal and no change oflocation would be necessary.

1:4

Baron H.
