The next step should be to record the <br />economic, operations, conditions and functional condition of the city buildings. <br /> <br />Chair Wietecki suggested a standard recording format for each of the city <br />facilities. The school facilities should also be documented. <br /> <br />Pat Johnson asked if the meeting notes could be used for background. <br /> <br />Jan Vander.vall asked if staff could bring together a summary of background data <br />and combine it with pictures of the sites. <br /> <br />Don Anderson noted that the Park and Recreation Committee did document the <br />need for new facilities in 1995-1996. <br /> <br />Lois Sinn Lindquist noted that original input was to be easily accessible reaction <br />from citizens and interest groups, not necessarily a set of hearings. Focus groups <br />may sell the process and add momentum, while giving the Task Force <br />confirmation of direction. <br /> <br />Chair Keith Wietecki suggested interest groups be invited in May. Peggy Egli <br />suggested a brief overview to be sent with invitations to the interest groups for the <br /> <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
