Would <br />buildings in Roseville be add-ons? <br /> <br />City Center Vision/Ideas from the November meeting included: <br /> <br />Meeting rooms; updated fire/police facility; outdoor facilities; amphitheater <br />swimming pool indoor; street level mixed use area; updated government complex <br />- state, city, county; indoor play area; mixed housing; design that blurs distinction <br />between indoor and outdoor; specific ornamentation to identify Roseville; teen <br />center; service center; multi-purpose rooms; child care facilities; volunteer <br />organization spaces; performance theatre; seminar theater; pathways between the <br />facilities; land mark for the center; good path access to community, human scale, <br />campus setting, trees and topographical changes; art/history center; fitness area; <br />racquetball courts; a safe place to be; home/garden education facility; continuing <br />community center, indoor tennis, carefully planned parking facilities; major <br />transit facility, possibly LRT, HR; food service/restaurants; conference facility; <br />kiosk/and select cart vendors; solarium; storage space for center organizations; <br />statutes and outdoor art; park and recreation center offices; climbing wall, <br />intergeneration activities/connections; aesthetic continuity in Central Park; good <br />and decorative ornamental lighting; religious facility; outdoor track; design <br />continuity; government center schools, CTV, city, cable system; an architectural <br />design that breaks from precedent; passive village square; beauty and barber <br />shops; public access studio; satellite postal service; design for flexible open ended <br />growth; gallery area; neighborhood promotion; massage center; community <br />nurse/health services; kitchen/wedding reception area; technology center - <br />internet access library; child play area; craft castle or room; signage activities <br />(informational and directional); putting greens; good street accesses; parkway-tree <br />lined streets with walkways; basketball/volleyball; service-retail; County Road C <br />as a street; streetscape; monument/gateway signage; flower and butterfly gardens. <br /> <br />CATEGORIES OF VISION/IDEAS: <br /> <br />1.
