The public hearing is scheduled for July 26, 1999, at <br />7: 15 p.m. Following is a description of the project to be heard: <br /> <br />e This project consists of the proposed construction of a 2A-meter (8-foot) bituminous off-road <br />trail along Dale Street from Larpenteur Avenue to County Road C and along Roselawn Avenue <br />from Lexington Avenue through the newly formed Reservoir Woods Park to McCarrons Lake, <br />The proposed trail is presented in four segments: <br /> <br />Segment 1 Dale Street, Larpenteur Avenue to TH 36 <br />Segment 2 Dale Street, TH 36 to County Road C <br />Segment 3 Roselawn Avenue, Lexington Avenue to Roselawn Cemetery <br />Segment 4 Roselawn Avenue, Reservoir Woods Park <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Feasibility reports, including the Project Memorandum and Supplemental Feasibility Report, <br />were distributed to the Council at the July 12, 1999 meeting. For the Council's convenience, <br />additional feasibility reports are available upon request. <br /> <br />This project was awarded a federal transportation grant in 1998 for construction in 2002. On <br />November 23, 1998, the City Council directed staff to accelerate the implementation of this <br />project to take advantage of an incentive offered by the Metropolitan Council that guarantees <br />80 % construction funding for projects developed in 1999. <br /> <br />As this project has developed, care has been taken to involve the public as much as possible. <br />In addition to numerous individual meeting with impacted property owners, two public <br />informational meetings have been held at City Hall to review project plans and receive public <br />comments. <br /> <br />~ CA..~ <br />1'V <br />
