BACKGROUND

c.",

..'i' ,
At the February meeting of the Planning Commission, this item was
tabled to the, March meeting so as to allow time for the applicants to
complete their application. An analysis of the drainage
system that sefves the large parking area located on the easterly half
of the congregation's site needed to be done. We are informed today,
Monday, March 26, that a representation from the congregation has
submitted a drainage plan to the Engineering Department.

Mr. Keel and Mr~ Jopke inform us that no additional materials have
been submi'tted. Mr. Keel proposes to analyze the drainage plan. We
propose to attach a copy of that plan and Mr. Keel's report to this
report for your review.

Attached is a copy of the March 7th report outlining the proposal,
issues, and options for solution. Other than the submission of the
drainage plan, nothing else seems to have changed.

2. CONCLUSION

The options appear to be similar to that which were previously
reviewed, including:

a) Achieve some agreement with the congregation as to making the
changes on a staged basis over time;
b) Require the improvements now; and
_ c) Approve the variance as requested without conditions.

I. .
