In addition to those activities or conditions which fall within the <br />definition of a nuisance in MiMesota Statutes, Section 609.74, all acts described. regulated and prohibited in <br />the provisions of Chapter X of rJUs Code ace hereby deemed to be, and are hereby decJaI"ed to be, nuisances. <br />All of such actS shall constitute misdemeanors and, in addilioD to abatement as in this Chapter X provided, shall <br />be punishable as misdemeanors. (Amended, Ord. No. 92-13. Sec. 1) <br /> <br />Section 1000:0S. Sj)ecific Instances or Incidents Declared to be a Nuisance. Each oCthe specific instances or <br />incidents set forth in the Subdivisions which follow is hereby declared to be a nuisance. <br /> <br />Subd. 1. All ponds or pools of stagnant water. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Garbage cans which are not fiy-tight <br /> <br />Subd.3. The pollution of any public well or cistern, stream. lake, canal, or body of water by sewage, <br />creamery, or industriaJ waste or other substances. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. All noxious weeds and other rank growths of vegetation which are in violation of Minnesota <br />State Statutes which reguiate an,jJor control the growth of weeds and other vegetation. <br /> <br />C-....~u:bd. S.' ~Dense smoke, noxious fumes, gas and soot, or cinders in such quantities as to render the <br />occupancy of property W1comfol1able to a person of ordinary sensibilities. <br /> <br />Subd. 6. Accumulations or storage in the open (i.e.. not contained within a building) of any of the <br />following items or any parts or accessories thereto: <br /> <br />(a) . All dangerous Wlguarded machinery, in any public place, or so situated or operated on <br />private property as to attract the public. <br /> <br />(b) Household appliances or furnishings; <br /> <br />(c) Any motor vehicle which is inoperable, nor currently licensed, or generally is not being <br />driven~ . <br /> <br />(d) Items which are not generally or normaJly used on the particular premises; <br /> <br />(e) Firewood which is not neatly stacked in a compact manner; <br />
