<br />D. Commercial: Commercial dumpsters, trash and trash handling equipment <br />within the Limited Business District (Bl), Limited Retail District (BIB), Retail <br />Business District (B2), General Business District (B3), Retail Office Service <br />District (B4), Office Park District (B6), Shopping Center District (SC) and <br />Business Planned Unit Developments (B-PUD) shall be stored within a principal <br />structure or within an attached structure. If the structure is attached it shall be <br />constructed of the same materials as the principal structure and shall be roofed. <br />A facility shall be located and/or screened so as to be as inconspicuous as <br />possible to the contiguous public right-of-way. Such trash handling equipment <br />storage areas shall be of sufficient size to accommodate the separation of trash, <br />including separate provisions for paper, cardboard, glass, cans and <br />miscellaneous refuse. Should the use be determined by the City to be a low <br />volume generator (180 gallons or less of trash and two (2) recyclable containers <br />per week) a 100% opaque screened storage unit (chain link fencing with slats <br />shall not be permitted) to a height six (6) feet six (6) inches, located away from <br />any adjacent living area, and picked-up at the curb-side or along a private drive, <br />shall be permitted. <br /> <br />E. Industrial: Industrial dumpsters, trash, and trash handling equipment within <br />the Light Industrial District (11), General Industrial District (12), Modified <br />General Industrial District (l2A), and Industrial Planned Unit Developments (1- <br />PUD) shall comply with Section 1010.11A or be a self-contained ram container <br />attached to the exterior of a principal structure, used for the purpose of storing <br />and transporting refuse or recyclable materials, and shall be fully screened so as <br />to be as inconspicuous as possible to the contiguous public right-of-way. <br />Screening may be either a fence and/or landscaping and must be approved by <br />the City. <br /> <br />Section 5. Effective Date.
