<br />Section 3. Amendments. Section 1010.11 is hereby amended be deleting the text: <br /> <br />Section 1010.11, Tra.sh Handling Equipment. Dumpsters, trash and trash hand:lihg <br />equipment shall be stored .vithih a principal structure or 'within an attached structure <br />accessible nom .vithin the principal structure and ser viced by an overhead door to the exterior <br />of the facility. If the structure is attached for this pmpose, it shall be of the nlaterials as the <br />principal structure and accessible to the interior and shall be roofed. A facility shall be located <br />so as to be as inconspicuous as possibl~ to the contiguous public right of 'hay. Such bash <br />handling equipment storage areas sl.all be of suffi.d~nt size to accomnlodate the separatioh of <br />trash, iI.duding separate provisions fur paper, cardboard, glass, cans and miscellaneous refuse. <br /> <br />Section 4. Amendments. Section 1010.11 is hereby rewritten as follows: <br /> <br />Trash Handling Equipment: <br /> <br />A. Residential: Residential containers, trash and trash handling equipment within <br />the Single Family Residential District (R-1), Two Family Residential District (R- <br />2), and Townhouse District (R-6) shall be required to store trash and recyclable <br />material containers within a garage and/or approved screened structure. Said <br />trash and recyclables shall be picked-up at the curbside no more than once a <br />week. <br /> <br />B. Residential: Residential containers, dumpsters, trash and trash handling <br />equipment within the General Residence District (R-3), Three to Twenty-four <br />Family Residential District (R-3A), Three to Four Family residential District (R- <br />4), Apartment Park Residential District (R-7), and Residential Planned Unit <br />Developments (R-PUD) shall be stored within an attached structure, <br />constructed of the same materials as the principal structure and shall be roofed. <br />Should the use be determined by the City to be a low volume generator (180 <br />gallons or less of trash and two (2) recyclable containers per week) a 100% <br />opaque screened storage unit (chain link with slats shall not be permitted) to a <br />height six (6) feet six (6) inches, located away from any adjacent living area, and <br />picked-up at the curb-side or along a private drive, shall be permitted. <br /> <br />C. Residential: containers, dumpsters. trash and trash handling equipment for <br />other uses permitted within the Single Family Residential District (R-1) such as <br />golf courses, libraries, churches, government buildings and government <br />maintenance facilities shall be stored within an attached structure. constructed <br />of the same materials as the principal structure and shall be roofed.
