<br />4c. In 1998, the special use permit originally issued in 1983 expired and <br /> <br />was not renewed. <br /> <br /> <br />4d. In 1996 a ten-year lease was approved for the City and MediaOne in which <br /> <br /> <br />a 70-space parking lot was constructed along the southeast side of the building <br /> <br /> <br />with specific times allotted for MediaOne and City uses. <br /> <br /> <br />5. Current Proposal (October 1999). <br /> <br /> <br />MediaOne has proposed the following: <br /> <br /> <br />a. All boom trucks will be stored overnight and weekends at an <br /> <br /> <br />alternative site within an industrial area (Shoreview). (Exhibit B) <br /> <br /> <br />b. Service vans would exclusively be parked in the southwest parking <br /> <br /> <br />area overnight and weekends as well as during daytime service <br /> <br />hours. The service van area will be screened along the south one-half <br /> <br />of the west property line with an eight-foot tall board on board <br /> <br />fence. A chain link security will be installed along the south and east <br /> <br />entry gate rear of this lot by MediaOne in 1999. <br /> <br />c. Pick-up trucks used by MediaOne for service activities will be parked <br /> <br />in the northeast parking lot (32 spaces) during day, evening and <br /> <br />weekends. <br /> <br />d. All employees would park in the southeast lot (70 spaces) during <br /> <br />allowed hours. (Exhibit D) <br /> <br />e.
