ORDINANCE NO. 1236 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, OF THE CITY CODE, BY CHANGING THE ZONING MAP DESIGNA nON OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES AT 2555 SNELLING AVENUE FROM B-1 (LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICT) AND B-2 (RETAIL BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO R-PUD (RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) WITH AN UNDERLYING ZONE OF R-3 (GENERAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) SUNRISE ASSISTED LIVING (PF3159) The City Council of the City of Roseville does ordain: Section 1. Real Property Rezoned. Pursuant to Section 1015 (Zoning Amendments) and Section 1008 (Planned Unit Developments) of the City Zoning Code of the City of RosevilIe, and after the City Council held a public hearing (PF3159) with due notice on March 13, 2000, the following property, generally located at 2555 Snelling Avenue, City ofRoseville, is hereby rezoned from B-1, Limited Business District, and B-2, Retail Business District, to R-PUD, Residential Planned Unit Development, with an underlying zone ofR-3, General Residential District: The property is located at 2555 Snelling Avenue North and is legally described as: Parcel 1 (Abstract): That part of Section 9 Township 29 Range 23,Ramsey County, Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Oak crest Avenue and the West Line of Snelling Avenue, thence North along the West line of Snelling Avenue 150feet, thence South 150feet, to the centerline of Oakcrest Avenue; thence East along the centerline of Oakcrest Avenue 350 feet, to the point of beginning. Parcel 2 (Abstract): That part of Section 9, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Oakcrest Avenue and the West line of Snelling Avenue; thence North along the West line of Snelling Avenue 150 feet; thence West and parallel with Oakcrest Avenue555 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Fry Street; thence South along said centerline 150 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Oakcrest Avenue; thence East along the centerline of Oakcrest Avenue 555 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, except the East 350 feet thereof Parcel 3 (Abstract): The East 395 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, except the North 767 feet thereof, except the South 335 feet thereof, and except the East 100 feet thereoffor Snelling Avenue. Section 2. Planned Unit Development #1236. The Planned Unit Development standards and conditions of approval adopted for this property shall be in addition to all other applicable zoning requirements. Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance amendment to the City Code shall take effect upon 1) the passage and publication of this ordinance; 2) the execution of the Planned Unit Development by the City and Sunrise Assisted Living; and, 3) the recording of the document with Ramsey County.
