At its November 8th meeting, the City Council was again forced to continue the <br />hearing to its November 22, 1999 meeting due to the absence of the applicant or a <br />representative of the applicant. <br /> <br />7. The applicant received mailed notice of the October 25th and November 8th <br />meetings, which included the statement that the applicant, or a representative of <br />the applicant, was required to, be present at the hearing. <br /> <br />8. The applicant was again notified by the City ofthe Council's action to continue <br />the hearing until the November 22nd meeting, and ofthe requirement to be present <br />personally or by a representative. <br /> <br />9. At the November 22nd meeting, the applicant again failed to attend either <br />personally or through a representative, as required by the City. <br /> <br />10. Absent the testimony of the applicant regarding the application, the City Council <br />is unable to determine whether the proposed use fully complies with all applicable <br />official controls and ordinances of the City or whether public health and safety <br />and welfare would be positively or negatively served by issuance of the state <br />license. <br /> <br />DECISION <br /> <br />1.
