Anne Marie Hanson, 1840 Lexington Avenue, has petitioned for a Setback Permit to allow the construction of a detached double stall garage to encroach six (6) feet into the required 30 foot &ont yard setback. The proposed construction requires a Setback Permit in order to place the proposed detached garage 24 feet from the southern property line. Ms. Hanson had an existing garage that was located 17 feet from the property line, but the stIUcture was removed do to its condition. Ms. Hanson is requesting the Setback Permit to allow construction in a similar location and in a portion of the yard that does not require extra fill and project cost. The Setback Permit process allows adjacent property owners the opportunity to comment on the proposal in writing or affords them time to comment at the hearing.
