<br />-.3 <br /> <br />-, .,"" .-..~.-.:'~' <br /> <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />The proposed changes in the land use plan and subsequent developments for the property <br />at County Road B and Lexington are consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, the <br />City's Parks and Recreation System Plan and the Recommendations of the Parks and <br />Recreation Infrastructure Committee as detailed above. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPLICATION <br />Funds for this project are available in the Park Improvement Program, A specific allocation <br />would be made when park development plans are complete and construction estimates are <br />available. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the recommendations of the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission, <br />Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Infrastructure Committee, the staff <br />recommends that: <br />1.) The site be declared as park, confirming the Comprehensive Plan and <br />amending the Parks and Recreation System Plan. <br />2,) The process by the Planning Commission be initiated for the parcel re- <br />zonings to all park use. <br />3.) Authorization be given for staff to seek planning proposals from park <br />planning consultants for the development of the new Lexington Park Master <br />Plan. Staff proposes to request concept plan RFP's to determine the <br />selection of the planning consultant. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion authorizing (1) the site be declared as park, confirming the Comprehensive Plan <br />and amending the Parks and Recreation System Plan and (2) that the process by the <br />Planning Commission be initiated for the parcel re-zonings to all park use and (3) <br />authorization be given for staff to seek planning proposals from park planning consultants <br />for the development of the new Lexington Park Master Plan. <br />
