No changes to the Plan's goals, policies and'policy plans have been made. When <br />changes have been proposed in the past, Roseville staff have met with you, or your staff to explain. A CD' <br />copy ofthe'Plan is attached for your files. The Plan has,its own "search engin'e" to help you find relevant, <br />sections. ' <br /> <br />As you know, the City did completely update its Comprehensive Plan in September of 1994. A copy of <br />that document was sent to your community for review and comment. ,Since that date the City has made a <br />commitment to keep the Plan C4ITent in two ways: first, during the year, hearings and decisions are made <br />,on each project which may require changes in Comprehensive Plan designatiQns; second, the City annually <br />hol~s hearings in Novt;mber and December seeking public input regarding the Plan, In January, the' <br />Planning Commission and City Council annually adopt an affinnation resolution of the changes from the <br />previous year and include them in the official document and change the official maps, <br /> <br />A history of these affinned changes is included in the Comprehensive Plan Amendments Chart at the front <br />of Book 1., Like most communities, when Roseville adopted its 1994 Plan, it set forth a series of <br />implementation strategies for the coming years, now lo"cated'in Book 2. <br /> <br />, . <br />Fonnal Metropolitan Council staff review of the Roseville plan was done last o,n December 14, 1998 for <br />the 1998 Plan. Forecasts of year 2020 population, housing, employment, T AZs, sanitary sewer projections <br />and an interim strategy for surface water management were requesteq. <br /> <br />This year the City of Ros'eville will submit two volumes and several copies by CD to the Metropolitan <br />Council.
