<br />2.0 COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />On November 22, 1999, the Roseville City Council held the first reading ofthe ordinance <br />amending Section 1016.26 of the Roseville City Code. During the first reading's <br />discussion, staff proposed the following modifications: <br /> <br />2.1 The requested changes are technical in nature and do not alter current goals and <br />policies. The amendment to Section 1016.26 as proposed is consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan, Section 8 - Environmental Protection. <br /> <br />2.2 The proposal clarifies city procedure when reviewing new proposals and provides <br />direction regarding remedial and maintenance work in the surface water <br />management system. <br /> <br />3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Based on the findings outlined in Section 3 staff recommends approval of the provision <br />that the City amend its surface water management code language within Section 1016.26 <br />relating to surface water management. <br /> <br />4.0 SUGGESTED PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />4,1 Open the public hearing and take comments from citizens. <br /> <br />4.2 By motion, recommend approval of the ordinance amending Section 1016.26 of <br />the Roseville City Code.
