<br />2.8 City Center (Section 7) - A City Center Task Force Planning Process began in August, <br />1998. This is part of the plan Implementation Section. No action will be taken on this <br />plan until the first quarter, year 2000. When completed, a copy of the final report will <br />be referenced in the Comprehensive Plan. When completed, a copy of the final report <br />will be referenced in the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />2.9 Twin Lakes Parkway Realignment within the TwinLakes Plan (Section 7) - In 1997, a <br />review of the land use, environmental and traffic impacts was completed prior to hold <br />hearings on an amendment to move the designated route for future Twin Lakes <br />Parkway approximately 800 feet south. The Commission and Council approved this <br />realignment (6/97). An official map of the right-of-way has been approved and <br />attached to the Comprehensive Plan Map and thoroughfare plan. A review took place <br />as part of the 1998 Metro Council Mandatory Planning Process. In 1999 the City <br />received a grant from the Federal E.P.A. to investigate and prepare remediation plans <br />for the land within the right-of-way. <br /> <br />2.10 Interim Strategy to Reduce Non-Point Surface Water Pollution Management Plan <br />(Section 8) - Reviewed and approved by the Metro Council memo of October 22, <br />1999. The new strategy includes adoption of an amendment to the surface water <br />management (Code Section 1016). A new resolution was adopted November, 1999. <br /> <br />2.11 Parks and Open Space Master Plan and Map (Section 9) - Update the "Parks and <br />Open Space Map", including new parks (Pioneer Park) and new park open space <br />(Roseview Woods). The map also illustrates an updated spreadsheet with park areas <br />and percent of total city area. <br /> <br />2.12 Pathways. (Section 9) - A new map has been produced which indicates on and off- <br />road pathways. <br /> <br />2.13 Community Facilities. (Section 10) - The City Street Map has been revised and added <br />here and to the introduction section to the Plan. A revised sanitary sewer map, <br />interceptor map and flow chart have been added. Also a discussion of inter-community <br />sanitary flow has been completed. <br /> <br />2.14 Collaborative Efforts (Section 11) - The City of Roseville continues as a partner in the <br />collaborative planning process for the 35W sub-region (North Metro 1-35W Corridor <br />Coalition). The 1999 briefing book with the basic planning framework document was <br />completed in 1999 and the Phase II transportation planning and build-out plan will <br /> <br />PF 3174 - RCA (01/24/00) - Page 3 of 4 <br />
