I ......WUI' I 1 'Inl ",":u...n_" <br /> <br />--~ --~ ---- . ---" -- <br /> <br />-:u~ <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />(j) <br /> <br />Rehabilitation Programs Ava-i'abre to_ _ <br />Suburban Ramsey County Homeowners <br /> <br />- - <br /> <br />Ramsey County Energy Conservation Deferred Loan Program <br />This program provides 10-year deferred payment loans* to improve energy efficiency to 1-4 <br />unit owner-occupied properties throughout Suburban Ramsey County. Loans are restricted <br />to low and moderate income households (this generally means a household income of <br />below $50,200 for 11 family of four) and must be recommended through an energy audit. <br /> <br />Financing for loans for up to $5,000 is available for measures which reduce home energy <br />costs, and emphasize fast payback in reduced energy bills such as: <br />· High efficiency heating systems <br />· Attic/Wall/Foundation insulation <br />· Weatherization <br />The program is administered for Ramsey County by the Environment & Energy Resource <br />Center (EERC). <br />Contact: EERC Telephone: 651-227-7847 <br /> <br />Ramsey County Residential Rehabilitation Deferred Loan Program <br />Rehabilitation funds arc available for low-income homeowners (Please see other side for <br />income guidelines) who live in suburban Ramsey County. Home improvement deferred <br />payment* loans for up to $15,000 may be used for basic and necessary improvements which <br />make the home more livable, more energy efficient, or more accessible for disabled person~. <br />The types of projects eligible for funding might be: <br />· replacing a deteriorating roof <br />· replacing an old, inefficient furnace <br />· putting in new storm windows and doors <br />· bringing electrical and plumbing systems up to code <br />· improvements to meet the needs of disabled persons <br />Funds for this program are available on a first- come/first-served basis. This program is <br />only for'residents of suburban Ramsey County. This does not include the City of Saint <br />Paul. This i.Ii a loan without <br />interest or monrhly payments. . This type of loan must be repaid only if the homeowner sells, trans- <br />fers interest, or moves from the property within ten years after the Joan is made.
