<br />screened by a building, wall, landscaped berm, fence, or combination <br />thereof from a point 14' above the ground at the outside edge of the <br />truck route lane to a point 5' above the first floor (main level) of the <br />adjacent residences. <br /> <br />Alternative option: Except as authorized by a variance or conditional use permit, no <br />service delivery vehicles shall enter or exit the site between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and <br />7 a.m. if the route used is within 300 feet of any adjacent residential district. <br /> <br />E. Off-Street Parking: Off-street parking requirements shall be as listed in <br />subsection 1005.01D, and in addition: <br /> <br />1. Twenty-four (24) hour uses within 300 feet of a residential <br />district shall provide screening of parking and driving areas <br />adjacent to residential areas. The screening, which must have a <br />minimum opacity of 90% year round and a minimum height of <br />six (6) feet, may be provided by landscaping, walls, fences, <br />berms, or combinations thereof. <br />2. There shall be no outdoor parking of service delivery vehicles <br />in excess of twenty-four hours. <br /> <br />F. Off-Street Loading: Off-street loading shall be as listed in subsection <br />1005.01F and servicing space shall be designated for each store unit in <br />the shopping district. Such loading space shall be designed so as not to <br />conflict with movement of vehicular traffic to and from parking areas. <br />(Ord. 275, 5-12-59) <br /> <br />1. Any commercial loading dock within 300' of a residential <br />district shall be completely screened by a wall, landscaped <br />berm, fence, or combination thereof from an adjacent <br />residential area, from a point 14' above the ground at the <br />loading area to a point 5' above the first floor (main level) of <br />adjacent residences. <br /> <br />2. Any commercial loading dock within 300' of a residential <br />district which is to be used for any reason by vehicles or <br />equipment between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall <br />be within a completely enclosed and roofed structure. All <br />loading; and unloading, operations shall occur with the <br />exterior doors shut at all times. <br /> <br />G. Maintenance Activities: Movement of sweeping vehicles, garbage trucks, <br />maintenance trucks, shopping carts, and other service vehicles and <br />equipment is prohibited within 300' of a residential district between the <br />hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for snow removal vehicles, <br />emergency vehicles and emergency utility or maintenance activities;-1:)t' <br /> <br />4 <br />
