All snow removal operations within 300 feet of an adjacent <br />residential district shall be undertaken consistent with a snow <br />management plan that must be submitted to and approved by the City. <br />The plan must include measures to minimize removal activity during the <br />hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. consistent with public safety requirements. <br />The plan must also address the location and management of short-term <br />and long-term storage of snow on-site and off-site. <br /> <br />H. Equipment Restrictions: All ground-mounted or roof-mounted <br />equipment, automatic doors, speaker systems, gas pumps, car washes, <br />vehicle vacuum cleaners, air hoses, or other noise sources within 300 feet <br />of a residential area must be completely screened to a point 5' above the <br />first floor of adjacent residences. Outdoor speaker systems or other <br />public address systems which can be heard outside are not allowed to be <br />used between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. within 300' of a <br />residential district, even if screened. <br /> <br />I. Lighting: The height oflight poles and fixtures shall comply with <br />subsection 1010.12, and shall not exceed a height of twelve (12) feet <br />within fifty (50) feet of a residential property line, twenty-five (25) feet <br />within 100' of a residential property line. Light poles or fixtures may be a <br />maximum offorty (40) feet tall if more than 100' from a residential <br />property line and if completely screened by building, berm, or landscape <br />material with a minimum opacity of 90% to eye level view ofliving <br />spaces in homes within 300' oflight source. All lights not reasonably <br />required for security or business operation must be turned off between <br />the hours of 10:00 p.m. and sunrise, or operated by motion detectors so <br />that they only turn on when there is activity nearby and turn off shortly <br />thereafter. <br /> <br />1. Other Requirements: <br /> <br />1. Certain Businesses in Shopping Center Districts to be Enclosed: <br />All business, storage, service, repair or processing, box and crate <br />storage or merchandise display shall be conducted wholly within <br />an enclosed building or behind a solid fence not less than five feet <br />(5') high except as allowed in subsection 1005.01G.
