Summer 2014 Renewal Program Projects <br />Roseville Parks have been the center of activity & <br />development this summer. <br />The Parks & Recreation Renewal Program kicked off with a <br />community celebration on May 31 & has been going strong <br />ever since. Construction on the park buildings in Lexington, <br />Sandcastle & Villa Parks are progressing nicely with <br />completion scheduled for October 2014. <br />We look forward to celebrating these community gathering <br />spaces with Neighborhood Open Houses later this year. <br />Please stay tuned for event announcements. <br />May 31st Renewal Program Kick-off Celebration <br />Lexington Park Construction - July 24, 2014 <br />Roseville’s Newest Playgrounds @ CP Victoria Ballfi elds. <br />Howard Johnson, Lexington & Materion Parks <br />RosevilleÓs newest playgrounds have been enthusiastically <br />& joyfully received by kids of all ages. <br />This generation of playgrounds embrace themes driven <br />by ideas & suggestions made by neighbors throughout <br />the recent master plan process. Each site is individualized <br />through color, play features & supporting amenities. TodayÓs <br />playgrounds include cushioned safety surfaces, shade <br />structures, adjacent benches & multi-age play features. <br />Beginnings of a new hockey rink @ Lexington Park <br />CP Victoria Ballfi elds Playground <br />Howard Johnson Playground <br />County Road B2 Sidewalk Project <br />Building Community Connections <br />Work has begun on the County Road B2 <br />Sidewalk that connects schools & park <br />access between Lexington Avenue & Rice <br />Street. The new sidewalk will also extend <br />north along Victoria to Central Park. <br />Benches have been provided by Active <br />Living Ramsey Communities.
