<br />Human Rights Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 20, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioners: <br /> Vice Chair Scot Becker, Chair Wayne Groff, David Singleton (arrived at <br />7:05 p.m.), Mary Bachhuber, Molli Slade, and Lisa Carey <br /> <br />Youth Commissioners: <br /> Joan Dao, and Gabriel Cederberg <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> Kaying Thao <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> Kari Collins <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />The Human Rights Commission (HRC) meeting was called to order at 6:34 p.m. Chair Groff <br />requested roll call. <br /> <br />Approve Agenda <br /> <br /> <br />Chair Groff requested Item 7.d. Family Course on Mental Illness be added to the agenda. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Becker moved and Commissioner Slade seconded a motion to approve the agenda as <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />amended. <br /> <br />Oath for Youth Commissioner <br /> <br />Chair Groff swore in new Youth Commissioner Gabriel Cederberg. <br /> <br />Approve Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />Youth Commissioner Dao stated on line 201 the word “metal” should be changed to “mental”. <br /> <br />Chair Groff stated on lines 111, 185, and 234 the spelling of Commissioner Thao’s name should <br />be corrected. <br /> <br />Youth Commissioner Cederberg stated on line 174 his last name should be spelled “Cederberg”. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bachhuber stated line 67 should be Chair Groff not Commissioner Thao. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Becker moved and Commissioner Bachhuber seconded a motion to approve the June <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br />18, 2014 meeting minutes as amended. <br /> <br /> <br />
